The selected candidate will be responsible for handling a diverse range of civil litigation matters, including personal injury litigation, attending depositions, offering legal advice, and handling wrongful death cases.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role and a proven track record of successfully litigating cases to a favorable resolution.
Responsibilities The Permanent Civil Litigation Attorney will be responsible for
- Representing clients in all aspects of civil litigation, including personal injury and wrongful death cases.
- Attending depositions, mediations, and trials as necessary.
- Drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Conducting legal research and analysis to develop case strategies.
- Providing sound legal advice to clients on potential litigation risks and strategies.
- Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients.
- Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all client interactions.
- Collaborating with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure the highest level of client service.
- Staying updated on current laws, regulations, and industry trends in civil litigation.
Qualifications The ideal candidate for the Permanent Civil Litigation Attorney position will possess the following qualifications
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Current license to practice law in the governing jurisdiction.
- At least 2 years of experience in civil litigation, with specific experience in personal injury litigation and wrongful death cases.
- Proven ability to attend and handle depositions effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to provide sound legal advice to clients.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficient in legal research tools and software.
- A strong track record of achieving favorable outcomes for clients in civil litigation.
