The Role

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to lead our Systems & Transformation efforts. This role involves leading transformation initiatives to enhance financial & business operations, ensuring system integration, & driving continuous improvement to support strategic objectives.

This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams, partner with executive leadership & other leaders across the business,manage project timelines, & ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional knowledge of NetSuite applications, industry experience, best practices & a pragmatic mindset in implementing business requirements.

This role will require engagement with key stakeholders, identifying business requirements, requirements management, functional & process design, configuration, testing & end-user training.

The position reports to the VP of IT. This role is office-based at least twice a week in New York City.

You Will

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand system architecture & to create business & functional requirements as an input to application design.
• Conduct business process mapping & requirements gathering sessions & prepare technical scoping documents to determine configuration requirements.
• Configure NetSuite workflows, data validations, integrations, dashboards & relevant reports to optimize system functionality & to drive automation & reporting analytics.
• Migrate legacy transactional & entity data from existing systems to Netsuite.
• Establish test cases & lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with core stakeholders to ensure system configuration objectives have been met.
• Manage the deployment process & ensure seamless software launch & continuity of business operations during transition.
• Lead change management efforts & apply SDLC policies & procedures across the IT environment.
• Troubleshoot issues that arise during configuration & provide ongoing post implementation support to optimize user adoption & netsuite configuration.
• Prioritize project workload to ensure milestones & objectives are attained.
• Create training / support documentation & drive end-user training to promote user adoption.
• Drive delivery according to the agreed-upon scope, time & budget.
• Plan, manage & communicate project status & milestone achievements.
• Strong organizational, project management & time management skills including balancing competing priorities.
• Ability to manage stakeholder interactions, conflict resolution & communicate with both technical & non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge & skill in driving implementations, process transformation & educating the implementation team on best practices & effective execution.

You Have

• Bachelor Degree in Business, or business related field, computer science, information management systems or other technology-related field.
• Bachelor Degree in Accounting Finance & Business field & accounting background a plus.
• Hands-on experience working on data projects (i.e. data cleansing, QA, ETL, normalization, crowdsourcing, business intelligence development)
• Familiarity with ETL Technology (Boomi, MuleSoft, Informatica, Pentaho).
• 5+ years of experience with Netsuite ERP Financials, Purchasing, Reporting, Projects & Cash Applications, in enterprise software implementation with relevant consulting or industry experience & in project management.
• Experience in software in a SaaS environment including any experience with Accounting / ERP.
• Experience as a certified NetSuite Professional in performing full life cycle NetSuite implementations, integrations, & customizations.
• Experience with other IT financial systems including Workday HCM, Strongpoint, etc.
• Strong verbal & written communication skills; proven ability to communicate effectively with internal & external business partners at various levels & ability to translate customer business requirements to both technical & non-technical audiences.
• Strong organizational, project management, & time management skills, including ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience documenting & analyzing processes, procedures, and / or policies.
