Position Description : The Compliance Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that our organization meets all Local, State, and Federal regulatory requirements.
This role will be responsible for researching legal requirements, drafting compliance updates, collaborating with various teams to develop policies, and analyzing regulatory changes.
This role also involves monitoring state compliance requirements and managing daily reporting tasks for PEO clients. Coordinates compliance activities with department heads.
Position Responsibilities : 100.00% - Essential Duties / Functions
Research Local, State and, Federal laws to ensure regulatory compliance.
Oversight and implementation of company and client compliance activities.
Collaborate with legal and operational teams to develop, implement, and update compliance policies and procedures
Conduct in-depth analysis of regulatory changes and communicate the impact on the organization
Collaborates with management team to ensure the entire company is aware of compliance requirements and issues.
Draft clear and informative compliance updates to inform clients about changes to Local, State and, Federal laws.
Create and Implement Compliance SOPs.
Identifies employment law / compliance requirements for company and clients.
Monitor state tax requirements to ensure we are paying / filing properly.
Manage the PEO reporting process for new clients, including daily tasks related to compliance reporting.
Address client inquiries related to compliance matters and ensure that reporting requirements are fulfilled.
Support Client HR, Legal and Tax departments compliance needs.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities : COMPLIANCE ANALYST - Qualifications :
Paralegal preferred or experienced Legal Assistant
Experience in PEO (Professional Employer Organization) preferred
Strong research skills with the ability to interpret legal documents and regulations.
Proficient in using legal research tools and software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
Skills and Other Requirements :
Paralegal certificate or associate degree in paralegal studies, legal studies, or a related field
2-3 years legal assistant experience
Experience in PEO (Professional Employer Organization)
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Ability to navigate and understand complex regulatory environments.
Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to compliance challenges.
Must be able to manage a high volume of tasks, including daily compliance reporting and state regulation monitoring.
Organized and able to manage time effectively.
Must be dependable and able to act with discretion maintaining strict levels of confidentiality.
General knowledge of Internet navigation and research, email, fax transmissions, phone communication, and copy equipment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Moderate to advanced Excel skills.
