We’re seeking a Revenue Cycle Auditor to join our growing team.
How you’ll make us better :
- Conduct regular and ongoing audits of revenue cycle processes, including patient contracting, billing, charge capture, coding, claims processing, revenue integrity, insurance and patient receivables, and overall reimbursement by comparing to company policies and protocols
- Assess individual transactions and adjustments to determine appropriateness based on company policies and protocols
- Identify discrepancies, errors, and potential issues that may impact revenue cycle efficiency and accuracy
- Utilize data analytics to identify outlier results across in-scope processes that warrant a deeper dive
- Compile core RCM metrics and KPIs for in-scope practices to populate a continuous monitoring scorecard as well as identify key metric changes warranting a deeper dive into RCM processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including billing, accounts receivables, cash management, coding, operations, finance, and clinical departments, to address immediate concerns and implement corrective actions
Your special skills :
- Solid customer service skills required
- Ability to solve problems and analyze information
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Prerequisites for success :
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an audit role
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Additional education in healthcare administration or related field is preferred
- Knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle processes, coding principles, and compliance standards
