Visual Basic Programmer and Machine Control Specialist

Job Summary : We are seeking a skilled Visual Basic Programmer and Machine Control Specialist to join our team. This role involves enhancing and modifying existing code, primarily in Visual Basic, for machine control and automation systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong willingness to learn, adapt to new technologies, and take on network administration responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities :

Develop, enhance, and maintain Visual Basic applications for machine control systemsModify existing code to improve functionality and efficiencyCollaborate with engineering teams to integrate software and hardware componentsTroubleshoot and debug software issues in machine control applicationsTake on network administration tasks including system monitoring and maintenanceSupport and train end-users on software applications and system functionalitiesDocument software designs, modifications, and troubleshooting stepsStay current with industry trends and technologies to suggest improvementsRequirements :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experienceProven experience in Visual Basic programming for machine control applicationsFamiliarity with motion control systems and automation processesStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environmentExcellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersWillingness to learn new technologies and take on new responsibilitiesNetwork administration experience or willingness to learn network administration tasks
