JOB DESCRIPTION
- Oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish
- Develop project plans, including scope, budget, and schedule
- Coordinate and communicate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and vendors
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budget
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work quality and address any issues or concerns
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and permits
- Collaborate with design teams to review schematics and ensure compliance with specifications
- Implement and enforce safety protocols on the construction site
- Provide leadership and guidance to project team members
- Assist with monthly pay applications
- Assist with change orders
- Assist with delay claims
- Assist with bid reviews prior to being submitted
- Provide technical guidance and support to construction crews and subcontractors as required
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field is preferred
- Must have experience in construction site work
- Minimum of 5 year’s experience in civil construction, with a proven history of successful project delivery
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and priorities
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Must have knowledge of change orders and delay claims
- Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and codes
