Job Title : IT Project Manager

Location : Remote within the State of Texas

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead all aspects of IT project management in large data center environments, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, breaking them down into manageable iterations.
• Develop and maintain a well-defined product backlog and ensure timely delivery of prioritized features in alignment with Agile principles.
• Monitor project deliverables and milestones to ensure they are met according to the project plan.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to eliminate blockers and risks.
• Provide expert-level planning, documenting, and identifying project goals and tasks to ensure on-time delivery.
• Oversee IT procurements, budget analysis, and forecasts for projects.
• Work closely with internal and external vendors to ensure operational requirements are met.
• Lead Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, while guiding the team in adhering to Agile methodologies.
• Champion Agile principles and practices throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage the migration of on-premise data centers to Cloud Services (preferably AWS).
• Support fiscal and budget management processes, particularly in government data center projects.
• Prepare and track security exemption requests.

Skills and Qualifications :

Required :

• Extensive experience in performing all aspects of IT project management in large data center environments.
• Strong understanding of the technical aspects of projects within an Agile context, particularly related to data flows in enterprise environments.
• Solid working knowledge of MS Office suite, including Project.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to facilitate effective communication between team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to monitor project deliverables and milestones to ensure they are met according to the project plan.
• Experience in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and breaking them down into manageable iterations.
• Solid experience with IT procurements, budgets, forecasts, and analysis for various projects.
• Experience working with internal and external vendors to ensure operational requirements are met.
• Strong experience in migrating on-premise data centers to Cloud Services, with a preference for AWS.
• Expert-level experience in planning, documenting, and identifying project goals to ensure on-time delivery.
• Effective leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
• Expertise in communicating with stakeholders to eliminate blockers and mitigate potential risks.
• Strong knowledge and experience championing Agile principles throughout the project lifecycle.

Preferred :

• Experience working on government fiscal and budget management supporting data centers.
• Experience with senior-level leadership reporting and communication, familiar with various reporting tools.
• Experience using Remedy, ITSM, PPM, Archer, Jira, and ServiceNow.
• Experience preparing and tracking security exemption requests
