Automotive Dealership Service Greeter / Valet Job Description
6 : 30 am to 2 : 30 pm Monday to Friday
Overview :
The Service Greeter plays a crucial role in creating a positive first impression for customers visiting the automotive dealership's service department.
They are responsible for welcoming customers, assessing their needs, and ensuring a smooth and efficient service experience.
Responsibilities :
- Customer Greeting : Greet customers promptly and warmly upon arrival, making them feel valued and welcome.
- Needs Assessment : Actively listen to customers' concerns and determine the nature of their service requests.
- Vehicle Inspection : Conduct a preliminary inspection of the vehicle, noting any visible damage or issues.
- Customer Communication : Keep customers informed about service progress,
- Problem Resolution : Address customer concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Facility Maintenance : Ensure the service area is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
- Get proper information to service advisors to that they request
- Keep Service lane free of cars and clutter
- Tag Vehicles and park accordingly
- Assist technicians as needed, such as delivering parts or retrieving vehicles from the parking lot.
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications :
- Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Basic knowledge of automotive terminology and service procedures.
- Proficiency in using dealership management systems and computer applications.
- Valid driver's license
