Overview of the Interim Assistant Controller role :
- The Interim Assistant Controller will be involved in complete cycle accounting, overseeing monthly close, taxes, and account reconciliations
- The Interim Assistant Controller will assist with commissions, WIP, Fixed Asset Schedules, Amortization schedules
- Analyze financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Support the annual budgeting and forecasting projections
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Assist in HUD / Home Closing Entries
Preferred Qualifications for the Interim Assistant Controller :
- 3+ years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA designation (++)
- Homebuilding experience is a MUST
