Woodland Group are recruiting a Customs Entry Writer for our New York office. A Customs Entry Writer will be an experienced entry writer familiar with HTS classification and PGA’s with 5+ years of experience.

What you will be doing :
- Preparation of customs, ISF and RLF entries
- Entry classification and valuation
- Reviewing and verifying documentation for accuracy to ensure compliance with all federal regulations
- Working with Customs, air carriers, steamship lines, piers and CFS’s
- Troubleshooting any issues, problems or examinations that may arise
- All other tasks as assigned by supervisor and / or manager
About you :
- High School diploma or equivalent, college preferred
- At least 5 years of Customs Brokerage experience to include entry writing, classification and valuation of merchandise
- Thorough knowledge of HTS and CFR 19, Customs Regulations
- Familiarity with PGA clearances and their various documentation requirements
- Experience with ACE and RLF a must
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to multi-task and team-oriented
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience with Cargowise a plus
