Job Description

The Program Director is accountable for leading and executing core projects and programs in support of one or more of Prime’s market segments.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the execution of operational plans for a complex set of programs and critical initiatives related to assigned market or line of service and for maintaining alignment and identifying interdependencies between all program level work efforts.
  • Maintain and refine key market segments and strategies to ensure line of business market success.
  • Collaborate with various business units, cross-functional teams, and key stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate, and on-budget implementation of market strategies.
  • Provide comprehensive, accurate, timely, and relevant market analysis and reporting to inform Prime’s management; manage assessment, tracking, and strategies necessary to take advantage of market opportunities.
  • Promote specific line of business through active participation in internal and external communications, planning activities, trade shows, conferences, etc.
  • Manage products / programs and implement tools / enhancements to ensure new strategies are successfully developed and implemented;

leverage new or existing tools to manage and cultivate new business opportunities.

  • Develop and maintain business cases and materials to support new program opportunities / enhancements and performance target metrics.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Health Care Administration, or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and / or relevant work experience;

HS diploma or GED is required.

  • 8 years of analytic, account management, product development, project management or consultative experience within healthcare, PBM, specialty pharmacy, health care consulting or other highly regulated industry.
  • 2 years of program management experience.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship.

  • Ability to establish trust, respect, and credibility and form close working relationships with all levels of Prime.
  • Demonstrated ability to distill complex concepts or situations into concise and compelling communications.
  • Expert negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Critical thinking skills and ability to anticipate issues and develop innovative solutions.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or related field.

Minimum Physical Job Requirements

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
  • Constantly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk and hear.
  • Frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, and crouch.
  • Occasionally required to lift and / or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Reporting Structure

Reports to Sr Principal, Sr Director, or VP in the Specialty Product or Sales, Government Programs, Market Segment Services or Operations, Planning & Delivery departments.

Potential pay for this position ranges from $109,000.00 - $174,000.00 based on experience and skills. Pay range may vary by 8% depending on applicant location.
