Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty : Pediatric Emergency Room Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 7 : 00 AM - 7 : 30 PM, Every other weekend Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience required, with pediatric experience listed on the resume License : Must hold an active RN license Certifications : ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS (recent completion via NIHStrokeScale.
org) Must-Have : COVID vaccine (declinations not accepted); vaccination status must be noted in submission Job Description : Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards.
- Be accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered personally or by those under your direction.- Utilize specialized knowledge, judgement, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide, and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
- Provide care that meets the physical and emotional needs of pediatric patients in an emergency setting.- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain a high degree of accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of patient care delivery.- Complete required documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to maintain competency in pediatric emergency care.Please ensure all qualifications and requirements are met before applying.
