Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly creative and motivated Junior Graphic Designer to join the in-house marketing team of a prominent real estate brokerage based in San Antonio, Texas.

As a Junior Graphic Designer, you will play a key role in creating visually stunning and effective designs that align with our brand's identity to benefit both the brokerage’s marketing efforts to consumers as well as real estate agent requested collateral on an as-needed basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or entry-level designer to develop their skills and contribute to a dynamic team.

We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude and leadership mentality who is looking to grow and learn in their position.

The hire will report to the brokerage’s executive team with leadership and training provided by the marketing team’s senior graphic designer and creative director.

Responsibilities :

• Assist in the design and production of marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, posters, logos, and social media graphics.
• Proofing of self-generated creative as well as other documents, graphics, and creative on an as-needed basis.
• Develop and maintain a consistent visual brand identity across all marketing channels.
• Collaborate with the marketing team as well as real estate agents and additional staff to conceptualize and execute design projects.
• Work independently and monitor your own progress to meet project deadlines.
• Meet tight deadlines and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
• Assistance in event planning and designing of event collateral. Occasionally providing a helping hand in set up / break down for events.
• Communicating with real estate agents by providing status updates on projects, and working with them to design custom materials.
• Design and construct custom e-mail campaigns.
• Order creative materials to be produced by various vendors such as print shops, sign shops, promotional websites, and more.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
• A digital portfolio of work that exemplifies your skills as a competent designer (student work is okay)
• 0-2 years of experience in graphic design
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
• Strong understanding of color theory, typography, and composition
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Portfolio that showcases your design skills and creativity
• Above average knowledge of English grammar and articulate communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with web design and development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Knowledge of UI / UX design principles
• Familiarity with project management tools (CRM and task management tools)
• Certification in graphic design or related field
• Bilingual English / Spanish (ability to translate English to Spanish is a plus).
• Experience with Constant Contact, Mailjet, or a similar email service.
