Responsibilities

• Take an active role in collaborating with our talented team of engineers, technicians, and production staff to bring innovative solutions to life.
• Provide support in the design and development of new or upgraded technology.
• Stay at the forefront of the industry by researching and implementing new materials, technologies, and manufacturing processes.
• Create and maintain technical documentation to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
• Provide exceptional technical support to both customers and internal teams whenever needed.
• Oversee the technical accuracy of the work product by defining and implementing the design concept, leading the development, actively reviewing work products for accuracy and completeness during design, and taking responsibility for overall quality of design and construction documents.
• All other duties assigned.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CREO) and showcase knowledge of CNC machining processes and material science (a plus).
• Experienced in component and mechanical system design & development.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to bend, stretch, and twist
• Able to stand or sit for long periods of time

Clearance :

A DoD secret level clearance.

Education & Experience :

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• 4-7 years of directly applicable experience.

Location :

• Aberdeen, Maryland 21001
• Monday-Friday 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm. Schedule flexing is available with the PM’s approval.
