The Role

Key Responsibilities :

Software Engineers for various and unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. (HQ : Chicago, IL). Analyze, architect, develop and test software applications.

Create technical design of software application components and features, both front-end and back-end. Create and execute integration level test plans.

Develop detailed technical analysis and design specifications based on functional requirements. Research technical solutions to business problems.

Resolve production defects. Ensure code quality and testing guidelines are met. Participate in and lead functional and technical specification reviews.

• Technical Environment : Java, Core Java, MVC, Design patterns; Agile / scrum; Postgres SQL DB; AWS (building and maintaining high capacity and high throughput computing platforms);
• git; scalable platforms and automation tooling using DevOps (Terraform, CloudFormation, Jenkins); relational databases and applications servers;
• business object modeling, data modeling, application architecture; unit testing, unit testing frameworks, and unit testing methodologies;
• pattern-based approach to software design, software patterns; Java SE, Spring Suite, Web Frameworks, JSON, JavaScript / TypeScript;

REST or SOAP or HTTP web services; Maven, UNIX / LINUX, Junit; infrastructure performance tuning and capacity provisioning.

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems / Technology or Computer Engineering or any Engineering field plus 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer or with Software Development required.
