The Carmelite Sisters came to the Palm Beaches in 1960. Later named the Lourdes-Noreen McKeen Residence, the facility was the first of its kind in the area to provide nursing, long-term and seasonal housing for the elderly, all with the signature type of care that distinguished the order's approach from others.

Today, our senior living community offers skilled nursing, short-term rehab, independent living and assisted living apartments.

We are looking for Housekeepers / Laundry - Full-Time.

Housekeeper / Laundry Job Summary :

• Clean rooms and areas including bathrooms and restrooms by scrubbing, dusting, mopping, and emptying trash.
• Clean windows / mirrors in resident rooms, recreational areas, bathrooms, and exit / entrance ways.
• Clean floors to include sweeping, dusting, damp / wet mopping, vacuuming.
• Empty trash.
• Perform all cleaning and disinfecting duties in accordance with departmental procedures.
• Maintain supplies in resident rooms and staff areas such as soap and toilet tissue.
• Prepare rooms for admission of residents.
• Receive cross-training in laundry procedures and be assigned to laundry aide duties as necessary.

Housekeeper / Laundry Qualifications :

• High School Diploma.
• Proof of COVID19 Vaccination Required.
• Ability to speak, read and write English.
• Experience in Long-Term Care preferred.
