POSITION SUMMARY :

Servtech , A Roeslein Company, is seeking a Building Assembler Technician III to j oin our team in our manufacturing facilities for the energy, mining, industrial power markets, and Integrated bio-energy solutions.

This individual must have the desire to perform quality work safely, be detail-oriented, and have superior customer focus.

This individual must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Assemble metal building structures on welded skids using various tools and equipment according to job specifications.
• Must be able to complete quality control checklists.
• Operate mobile equipment including scissor lift, mobile deck crane, overhead cranes, and forklifts within the safety procedures and policies prescribed.
• Read, interpret, and follow basic prints and other written instructions and / or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Must be willing to train level I and II building assemblers and direct the team accordingly.
• Must follow training and company procedures.
• Install siding and roof panels on structures.
• Organize all materials and equipment.
• Must follow good housekeeping practices.
• Other duties as assigned.

$29.25 - $33.26 per hour

PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel;

reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop; kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk and hear. Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT :

Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with an uncontrolled atmosphere. Exposure to harsh conditions such as dust, fumes, chemicals, hazardous materials, noise, and varying weather and temperatures for short periods is possible.

All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILL / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :

• High school diploma or G.E.D. is preferred but not required
• 2 years of manufacturing or construction experience is required.
• Ability to read prints and other technical documents is required.
• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Experience with handheld tools (drill, circular saw) and assembling parts are required.
• Ability to read prints and other engineering documents is required.
• Must be able to perform job responsibilities at various heights.
• High mechanical aptitude required.
• Elevated level of energy and motivation.
