Salary : Based on union wages; Range from $30.55 - $47.00 per hour
Joseph J. Albanese, Inc. is seeking experienced cement masons for place and finish and site concrete projects in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Masons should have experience in :
Site Concrete :
- Formwork for sidewalks, curb and gutter, etc.
- Elevation, layout and stake reading
Place and Finish - Slabs :
- Finishing concrete for sidewalks, curbs, slabs including edges, and cutting joints
- Experience with shoveling, rodding, spreading and tamping concrete
- Ability to operate / walk / ride place and finish machines
OTHER :
- Nonunion experience is accepted and willing to sponsor the right candidate into the union.
- Ability to work overtime and Saturday's on an as needed basis.
- Ability to work on construction projects in both standard and high-risk areas. Construction site work environment will require physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs and ladders and negotiate work areas under construction.
Specific vision abilities required by this job includes close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Performing this job requires use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, sit, talk and hear, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Ability to regularly lift and / or move up to 50 pounds
