Required Skills : Min. 10 years in IT, Database modeling, Apache Cassandra Clusters, AWS Services - EC2, S3, and AWS / Amazon Keyspaces, Cassandra Strategies - Backup, Restoration, and Disaster Recovery, Dynatrace or any other monitoring tools etc.
Job Description :
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and optimize Apache Cassandra Clusters, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability.
- Design and implement efficient data models in Cassandra to meet business requirements and optimize data storage and retrieval.
- Deploy and maintain Cassandra Clusters on AWS, leveraging services like EC2, S3, and AWS Keyspaces.
- Implement backup, restoration, and disaster recovery strategies for Cassandra to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of Cassandra clusters using Dynatrace and other monitoring tools, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
- Optimize data models and database configurations for scalability, balancing read and write performance.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate Cassandra with other systems and applications, ensuring seamless data flow.
- Ensure security and compliance of data stored in Cassandra and AWS, following best practices and industry standards.
