Schneider Electric has an outstanding opportunity for a passionate and motivated individual to assume the role of Mechanical Engineering Co-Op in our Mount Juliet, TN manufacturing facility starting in September 2025 .
What will you do?
- Assist Project Engineering Supervisors and Manager with departmental projects and activities
- Shadow Mechanical Engineers and gain exposure into responsibilities and engineering tasks
- Generate and ensure technical quality of deliverables (drawings, bills of material, services)
- Ensure compliance with the project's objectives
- Continuous improvement of the design activity in terms of technical knowledge, efficiency, processes, quality, and service level
- Collaborate with Design Engineering and Technical Antenna team to ensure compliance with design intent and safety considerations are maintained
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with a graduation date of December 2025 or later
- Aptitude and ability to succeed in a manufacturing environment
- Aptitude and ability to learn medium voltage switchgear / Mechanical engineering power system protection & design.
- Located and / or attending school in the Smyrna / Mount Juliet / Nashville, TN area as we are unable to provide relocation or housing assistance for internships
