Our Inventory department in Belleville, IL is now looking for a
Inspector Quality Control.
Key Tasks
MAINTAINS QUALITY PRODUCT BY :
- Inspecting product prior to final packaging, checkingfor all manufacturing defects and correct components to determine which productswill pass inspection including labeling verification;
- inspecting reworkedproduct to determine if designated rework was completed properly; rejecting nonconformingproduct; putting cushions in rework bins;
confirming final package contentsprior to final booking.
MANAGES INVENTORY BY :
Inspecting purchased items and inventoried components;accurately matching all serial numbers and bar code numbers to correspond witheach other where appropriate;
ordering supplies needed for routine dailyoperations; and segregating nonconforming materials.
MAINTAINS PRODUCT RECORDS BY :
- Maintaining accurate count of all product anddocumenting on various forms which are distributed to appropriate personnel;
- using defect codes and completing re-work cards, updating work orders andproduct evaluation forms and authorizing release of product;
following goodmanufacturing documentation practices.
SUPPORTS OPERATIONS BY :
Communicating withInventory and Packaging teams to keep operations efficient; segregatingincomplete product to prevent use;
bubble testing and diagnosing productfailures to allow for reporting and trend analysis; reporting atypical resultsto management.

Your Background
HighSchool diploma or GED required; one to three months related experience required
Handscanner; heat gun; grommet setter; grinder; pallet jack; vision system;flowmeter; general office equipment
Lifting up to 25 lbs
