The Farmers Protg Program is designed to give aspiring entrepreneurs the opportunity to grow their skills & experience the day-to-day excitement of running their own insurance agency, under the guidance of a Farmers Insurance mentor agent.
With the training of a Farmers Insurance mentor agent, Nationally Recognized University of Farmers online training and local district office you will be exposed to all facets of how to operate a successful business.
As a Protege you'll set out on a rewarding path to master the complexities of the insurance sector, sharpening your abilities and laying the groundwork for a prosperous future with the prospect of becoming an agent.

In this position, you'll collaborate directly with seasoned agents, acquiring actionable insights and direct experience. Your responsibilities will include aiding in client communications, evaluating policies, and showcasing products.

As a Farmers Future Agency Owner , or Agent Protg, you will have the opportunity to unlimited earning potential based on sales, while being able to learn the insurance business from the inside out.

Protege Benefits :

Responsibilities
As a Future Agency Owner you will Train on how to sell property, casualty, and life insurance products.
- Obtain your Insurance Producer's licenses in Property & Casualty, and Life & Health
- Generate leads and prospect through various channels.
- Assess client needs and offer tailored insurance solutions.
- Present and explain policies, coverage, and premiums.
- Assist in the application process and paperwork.
- Maintain accurate records and provide ongoing customer support.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulations.
- Foster client relationships for renewals and referrals.
- Ensure compliance with ethical and regulatory standards
- Complete District 46 comprehensive Protege training program prior to agency launch
- Spend 7 -18 months in the Protg role (time based upon each individual)
- Program will have set sales and growth goals to keep you on track for growth
- Compensated on a base plus commission structure and bonus opportunities
- Will be provided leads to help generate sales
- Immersed into the Farmers culture and the insurance industry
Requirement
- Be comfortable with a sales related career based on commission and obtaining sales related goals
- Must have or be able to quickly obtain Insurance Producer's licenses in Property & Casualty, Life & Health from State of Texas.
