THE POSITION
We are seeking an Equity Portfolio Analyst to join the Equity Portfolio Implementation Team in our Boston location. In this role, the individual will be a member of a global team that supports the portfolio management activities of the firm’s equity investors.
Previous asset management industry experience is preferred for this role, although candidates from other backgrounds will also be considered.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with the investment teams and traders to ensure timely and accurate execution of investment strategies across client portfolios
Rebalance portfolios in response to investment strategies, cash flows, benchmark changes, market price movements, and changes in client guidelines
Monitor positions and verify that transactions are consistent with client guidelines
Interact with many areas of the firm to improve processes and minimize operational risks
Monitor performance, risk exposures and key market sensitivities of positions in portfolios
Provide additionalvalue-added contributions to investment teams on a customized basis, such as risk analysis, syndicate recommendations, detailed portfolio data reporting and analysis, exposure tracking, and custom portfolio management
Work with Investment Technology on the development of and enhancements to investment implementation and monitoring tools
QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate for this position is likely to have :
0-5 years of relevant professional experience
Prior asset management industry experience is preferred
Demonstrated strong understanding of, and interest in, global markets and securities, including equities, bonds, currency, and derivatives
Advanced analytical skills
Quantitative orientation
Detail oriented mindset
Strong communication skills
Ability to work independently and contribute as part of a team
Proficient programming skills in Python is preferred, but not required

We strive to pay employees fairly and competitively across all levels and roles. Our approach to compensation considers all aspects of total compensation;
all employees are eligible to receive salary, variable compensation, and benefits. The base salary range for this position is :
USD 65,000 - 150,000
This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets;
role; skills and experience; certifications; and education. This range is an estimate, and further details on salary and total compensation aspects will be shared with candidates during the recruitment process.
Base salary is only one component of Wellington’s total compensation approach. Other rewards may include a discretionary Corporate Bonus and / or Incentives, if eligible.
