RESERVATIONS AGENT PART TIME

This is a part time (24-hours per week), work-from-home position, for candidates residing in AZ and FL.

What You Will Be Doing :
- Assist guests by selling future room reservations as well as making changes to existing reservations in a knowledgeable and timely manner
- Creating a genuine, informative, and personalized guest reservations experience by accurately collecting contact information such as previous stay history, special occasions, preferences, and other pertinent information
- Complete an in-house training course on effective selling techniques and standards.
- Answer all incoming calls and emails in a professional, friendly and efficient manner
- Know the properties and other information including :
- Services offered and hours of operation
- Accommodations, layout, décor, attributes and locations
- Room rates, special packages and promotions
- Entertainment / special events scheduled on property and in the area
- Directions to the properties from airports and other major landmarks
- General knowledge of local services, restaurants, and points of interest
- Booking guest reservations, including follow-up, obtaining necessary information and accurately entering it into our Property Management System
- Following up with potential leads through phone / email
- Ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately and efficiently processed
- Upselling services and offerings when appropriate
What We Are Looking For :
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work from home
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Flexibility with schedule, able to work weekends, nights, and holidays as needed
