Surgical Technician

Description

Under the direct supervision of the OR RN Circulator, assists the medical and nursing staff in the care of the patient in the OR.

The Surgery Technician's primary function is the scrub person role in the Surgical Suites and other clinical areas.

Required Qualifications :

• Coursework / Training Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants, or an equivalent combination of coursework, experience / training to qualify to sit for a National Certification exam.
• upon hire : National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 6 months Healthcare experience.
• 6 months Medical Assistant experience.

Preferred Qualifications :

upon hire : National Medical Assistant Certification.
