ChristianaCare's Medical Group is looking to hire a Full Time Senior Scheduler to support the Family Medicine academic residency practices at Foulk Road and Wilmington.
The Senior Scheduler will provide overall coordination of scheduling operations for the Academic Practices at Wilmington Hospital Gateway and Foulk Road.
Partners with Complex Care leadership and staff for new process implementation and workflow changes to enhance patient experience.
Work Schedule :
Monday- Friday : 8am- 4 : 30pm
No weekends or holidays.

Key Responsibilities
Construction and oversight of physician and provider schedules for the Family Medicine, Wilmington Adult Medicine and Wilmington Pediatric practice including clinical hours, Saturday and evening hours, call coverage, Provider Desktop coverage and other scheduling needs as determined.
Maintains provider schedules in Rev Cycle, PerfectServe, on Sharepoint, and other scheduling programs as needed.
Coordinates and communicates schedule and schedule changes with the Medical Group Contact Center, Family Medicine / Adult Medicine providers, Site Managers and staff as needed.
Establishes and coordinates process for physician / provider out of office requests. Monitors and tracks physician / provider PTO, CME, weekend and holiday hours to ensure physicians / providers are meeting their clinical obligations and assists with preparation of variance reports.
Adds or removes blocks to Rev Cycle for Provider schedule changes and planned or unplanned absences. Assists with resolving urgent scheduling conflicts daily.
Supports the patient scheduling and registration experience through coordination with the Office Assistants and Contact Center contacts.
Coordinates and collaborates with the Resident Chiefs, Clinical Leaders, Clinical Directors, Site Managers and Practice Administrator.
Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications :
High school graduate or equivalent (associate degree preferred)
Five years of work experience in administrative or coordinator positions showing job duties of increased responsibility and / or complexity
Minimum of two years' work experience in healthcare
