ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary :
- Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.
- Maintain vigilance at assigned posts for all activities.
- Maintain routine patrols throughout the premises while on watch for criminal activities and any general non-compliance to company rules and policies.
- Provide visual surveillance of all areas in an attempt to detect fire and safety hazards which might compromise the well-being of life and property.
- Respond to and handle emergencies using the proper methods, and the correct safety procedures
- Conduct crowd control and direct traffic as needed.
- Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.

- High School Diploma or GED, one year of security experience in a high volume casino / night club environment or Military / Law Enforcement experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.
- Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
- Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints, with particular gomez attention to detail.
- Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills and good public relations skills with a good personality, enjoying opportunities to work with and assist people.
- Physical stamina and proper mental attitude to deal effectively with guests, management, vendors and employees while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
- Must be able to withstand extreme sun & heat, cold, and inclement weather for long periods of time throughout the day.
- Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS
Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
Nevada Gaming License, CPR / First Aid / AED Certificate, and Nevada Alcohol Awareness Card are required.
