Job Title : Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Responsible for all preventative maintenance, mechanical repairs, and change outs for the terminal. The candidate will repair, install, adjust, or maintain systems in both the field and the maintenance shop.

Hard Skills

• Experience with pumps, motors, controls, and other related equipment
• Perform maintenance ranging from basic level service (filter changes) to complex replacement of seals, valves, adjustment of safety valve settings
• In-shop and field repair services for mechanical seals and related equipment
• Shaft alignments with dial indicator and / or electronic Laser alignment systems
• Predictive maintenance services such as greasing valve motors and related equipment

Soft Skills

• Effectively communicate with operations, maintenance, and management
• Develop and maintain a positive attitude with other departments
• Consistently provide courteous and professional representation of the company
• Keep an organized, clean & resourceful work environment
• Understand and adhere to all safety-related policies, rules, and guidelines

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 Day(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Chesapeake, Virginia.

Work Environment

Work will be done outdoors, so candidates need to be comfortable with that. They will also be accessing stairs regularly.
