Job Summary
LK Jordan is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Part-Time Accounting Clerk to join our client's team in Brookshire, TX.
This role involves handling a variety of accounting and administrative tasks, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Collections, and general administrative duties.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in QuickBooks and have a strong background in accounting practices.
Pay is $17 / hr.
Key Responsibilities :
- Accounts Payable : Process invoices, match purchase orders, and ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Accounts Receivable : Generate and send out invoices, follow up on outstanding payments, and reconcile accounts.
- Collections : Contact customers regarding overdue accounts and arrange payment plans if necessary.
- Administrative Work : Assist with filing, data entry, and other general office tasks as needed.
- Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting functions and maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries as requested.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements :
- Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is a must.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in accounting is a plus.
