Thurs. 4x10s nights A Snapshot of Your Day Work independently and with teammates to complete blading, welding or various other tasks to new and service repair Steam Rotor Turbine components.
How You’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities)Perform wide variety of tasks to disassemble and reassembly Steam Turbine rotors and associated components.
Perform multiple machining operations using manual mills, grinders, and drills. Execute metal deformation processes using both machines and manual methods for rivet forming.
Weld and braze for lug joining.Use precision instruments to measure frequency, temperature, and size for assembly, fitting and final product quality checks.
Work with Manufacturing Engineers to troubleshoot and problem solve. What You Bring Sound knowledge in the use of basic shop math, reading complex drawings, specifications and use of various precision instruments A High School diploma or equivalent is required along with 3-5 years of experience in close tolerance handwork.
Have ability to obtain fork truck and critical lift crane licenses. Must possess or pass associated 6G weld test Current possession of, or ability to obtain (within a reasonable amount of time) Career Readiness / Work Keys Certificate Silver Status is required Offers of employment are contingent up successful completion of a drug screen, pre-hire background check and any other testing deemed vital for the role.
