Quality Control Inspector conducts inspections of small medical device components in a manufacturing setting, utilizing microscopes, vision systems, and various measuring instruments.
This role requires meticulous attention to detail and adherence to specific Work Instructions. Additionally, the inspector is responsible for completing all relevant documentation associated with the inspection process.
Openings on 2nd Shfit
2nd shift hours - 1 : 00 PM 9 : 30 PM
M ust be able to train on 1st shift for 2-4 weeks - 1 st shift 7 : 00 AM 3 : 30 PM
IDEAL EXPERIENCE :
- Inspection Experience : Proven experience with first article, in-process, and / or final inspections is required.
- Microscope and Gage Proficiency : Must have hands-on experience using microscopes and gages.
- Preferred Skills : Familiarity with CMM and comparators is preferred. Experience with SmartScope, FineScan, OGP, CT scanners, or other vision systems is advantageous.
- Medical Device or Aerospace Parts : Previous experience in inspecting medical devices or aerospace components is preferred.
- Blueprint Reading : Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints is essential.
- Hand-Eye Coordination : Excellent hand-eye coordination is required for handling small parts.
- GD&T Knowledge : Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) is required.
- Basic Skills : Strong reading, writing, math, and computer skills are necessary.
- Accuracy in Documentation : Must be able to complete detailed paperwork with precision.
- Work Ethic and Standards : A strong work ethic and high ethical standards are essential.
- Attendance and Efficiency : A good attendance record and the ability to work efficiently towards achieving business goals are required.
