What you'll do :
- Have responsibility for executing all Master Scheduling activities of assigned product lines within the overall Manufacturing Planning and Control (MPC) framework including rough cut capacity planning, shipment volume forecasting, capacity requirements planning, TAKT time determination, lead time analysis, and other planning activities at a tactical level with a 3 to 18 month planning horizon and any other duties as assigned.
- Be responsible for monthly delivery metrics for assigned product lines including on time delivery, shipment volume vs forecast accuracy and average FG lead times.
- Be the primary point of contact for quoting lead times for new product introductions based on preliminary bills of materials and existing capacity constraints for assigned product lines.
- Work with the distribution planning team to establish a level loaded master production plan for assigned product lines and fulfillment strategy types including engineer-to-order, make-to-order, assemble-to-order, and make-to-stock.
- Work with the production control team to ensure the master production plan is translated into an operational production schedule that delivers the master plan and site delivery KPIs.
Who you are :
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in supply chain, business, engineering, or another related field and minimum 4 years experience in a production / materials planning role in a manufacturing environment OR Associate's degree from an accredited university or college in supply chain, business, engineering, or another related field and minimum 6 years experience in a production / materials planning role in a manufacturing environment OR High School Diploma / GED and minimum 8 years experience in a production / materials planning role in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum 4+ years' experience in production / materials planning roles utilizing SAP MRP / ERP systems
- Demonstrated experience managing mixed model fulfillment portfolios including engineer-to-order, make-to-order, assemble-to-order and make-to-stock strategies.
- 3+ years experience utilizing continuous improvement methodologies and concepts such as LEAN, Six Sigma, Shainin Red X, or equivalent
- Demonstrated understanding of Manufacturing Planning and Control and its constituent parts including Sales & Operations Planning, Master Scheduling, Production Control, Distribution Requirements Planning, and Rough Cut Capacity Planning
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in :
- APICS CPIM / CSCP Certification or equivalent
- Master's Degree in Business or Supply Chain
- Experience in demand planning / forecasting & / or direct S&OP roles
