KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, HR Document Management to join our Talent & Culture organization.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage and lead a team of HR professionals both on and offshore in the Document Management team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship
  • Coach, train, and support individuals heavily involved in centralization and offshore efforts, including defining business and technology requirements, addressing escalations impacting quality and timeliness, and facilitating the implementation of new offshore team extensions
  • Conduct thorough reviews of personnel files to ensure compliance with state laws, company policies, and industry regulations, verifying accuracy, completeness, and redacting sensitive information in accordance with privacy laws and company policies
  • Perform regular audits to ensure the accuracy and completeness of HR documents and records, while also ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to document retention, privacy, and data protection
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT and business management, to develop and implement HR initiatives that support the organization's strategic objectives, while managing stakeholder relationships to ensure high standards and quality of technical solutions for Human Resources applications
  • Act as an individual contributor and team player whose role contributes to ServiceNow Case Management, DocuSign, Open Text program improvements, efficiencies, and enhancements in line with industry trends and best practices in HR service delivery

Qualifications :

  • Minimum five years of recent experience in Human Resources, preferably from a professional services organization, with at least three years in a managerial or supervisory role
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college / university or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Possess strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices, including familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to document management, personnel files, data privacy (such as GDPR, California Privacy Rights Act, and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), and HR policies and practices as they relate to HR-related systems and data protection.

Ability to effectively manage confidential information

  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement, as well as strong decision-making skills to effectively resolve conflicts in a positive, objective, and professional manner
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and provide timely follow-through with stakeholders / customers; ability to meet deadlines and customer demands as needed
