Join our team as a Process Pipe Fitter / Installer and play a vital role in installing piping systems for commercial aquatic projects, including water filtration systems for zoos, aquariums, and aquaculture settings.

As a Fitter / Installer, you'll be responsible for planning pipe layouts, cutting, gluing, and fusion welding plastic pipes, as well as assembling and installing hardware, valves, and fittings.

Collaborating closely with team members, you'll contribute to the successful completion of projects while adhering to safety protocols and industry standards.

If you're a detail-oriented problem solver with a passion for mechanical systems, we want you on our team!Role and Responsibilities : -Fabricate and install water filtration systems-Operate heavy machinery as assigned-Perform plumbing installation of PVC (schedule 80), HDPE, CPVC, and SS piping, including pipe supports-Conduct maintenance and repair work at company and client locations-Engage in general construction work including plumbing, excavation, carpentry, fiberglassing, and metalwork-Handle product manufacturing, packaging, inventory, and delivery as assigned-Follow precise directions and plans to complete daily tasksQualifications and Education Requirements : -2+ years of LSS / water filtration fabrication experience or 3+ years of general construction crew experience-High school diploma or equivalentPreferred Skills : -Clear communication skills to effectively articulate project goals and progress to superiors in verbal and written form-Strong attention to detail and proficiency with general hand and shop tools common to such projects-Ability to sit, stand, bend, and lift a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance-Experience working in confined spaces-Ability to read and understand blueprints-Skills in facilities management, welding, glass / acrylic handling, aquatic exhibit ecosystem management, basic lab skills / water testing-Certified LSS Operator, Certified Pool Operator'Benefits : Longhorn Organics pays first $350 / month of major medical premiums10 Days PTO9 Paid HolidaysRelocation assistance between projects401K with 4% match after 1 year of employment(30-day wait for benefits once permanent)Travel Compensation ProgramRelocating every 1 to 40 years with relocation assistanceJoin us and be part of a team that is committed to excellence in building state-of-the-art water filtration systems for unique and exciting aquatic environments!We foster a family-like environment where every employee is valued.
