Position Overview :
CREO Capital Partners is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Private Equity Associate with a background in investment banking, corporate finance, or private equity.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in sourcing new deals, raising capital, and managing our portfolio. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior investment professionals and gain substantial exposure to all facets of private equity investing.
The position will be based in the Miami office with expectation for the ability to travel up to 30% of time.
Key Responsibilities :
- Deal Sourcing : Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities through research, networking, and relationship-building with industry professionals.
- Due Diligence : Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, due diligence, and valuation of target companies, including market and competitive assessments.
- Capital Raising : Assist in the preparation of marketing materials, including investor presentations and pitch books, to support fundraising efforts for current and future funds.
- Transaction Execution : Support the execution of transactions, including deal structuring, financial modeling, negotiation, and documentation.
Collaborate with legal, financial, and operational teams throughout the process.
Portfolio Management : Work closely with portfolio companies to monitor performance, implement strategic initiatives, and drive value creation.
Prepare detailed performance reports and updates for internal and external stakeholders.
Research & Analysis : Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitive dynamics to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
Qualifications :
- Experience : Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), leveraged finance, or financial advisory.
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Skills : Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Attributes : Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to handle complex and high-pressure situations. Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a commitment to excellence.
