Accounts Receivable Clerk Leawood, KS
LHH is partnering with a client in the Leawood, KS area, who is seeking an AR Clerk. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and processing incoming payments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions.
You will work closely with our finance team to maintain accurate records and support our overall financial operations.
Responsibilities :
- Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables' data.
- Prepare bills, invoices, and bank deposits.
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Verify discrepancies and resolve clients' billing issues.
- Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.
- Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status.
Qualifications :
- Proven working experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or in a similar role.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
