Our team is looking to hire a skilled CNC Programmer Machinist!
Responsibilities :
- Program, set up, and occasionally run CNC mills.
- Enter part run times and program numbers into VISUAL MANUFACTURING.
- Schedule workload with guidance from the Production Control Manager to meet customer deadlines.
- Collaborate with estimators to determine machining costs.
- Operate all machine shop equipment, design, and build fixtures for production and inspection.
- Optimize program speeds and feeds for maximum machine efficiency.
Education and Experience :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years machining experience (4+ years in CNC programming).
- Proficient in English and basic arithmetic.
Skills :
- Expertise in CAD programs like Mastercam, Geopath, CamWorks, and Solidworks.
- Ability to set up, run, and inspect multi-axis jobs on both vertical and horizontal machining centers.
- Experience with multi-axis, twin-spindle mill-turn centers.
- Skilled in troubleshooting machining defects and familiar with CNC controls (Fanuc, Mazak, Haas).
- Knowledge of various materials, including aluminum, steel, and plastics.
- Ability to create G-code programs on machine controllers.
