Carpenters for Industrial Equipment Installation jobs
Our team at Spray Booth Products needs to expand! Our crews install, maintain, and repair all the elements of our commercial air movement systems (machinery and other equipment, physical structures, piping and electrical systems).
We primarily need help with Installation of new Paint Booth components and equipment.
Installing our booths requires the following types of tasks :
- Running power supply
- Installing ductwork
- Assembling spray booth enclosures
- Machinery install and calibration (compressors, blower motors, fan motors)
- Proper installation of Temperature control elements (thermostats, heaters)
Useful Knowledge and Experience (experience in any of the following could be a good foundation) :
- Electrical - construction / building electrical
- Power supply - conduit, wire, panels
- HVAC - commercial especially
- Refrigeration experience / certification can be useful on the service side of things
- Electrical Controls - installation and configuration
- Machinery schematics, internal machinery wiring
- PLCs
- Relays
- Installing Industrial Machinery or Equipment
- Pneumatics, hydraulics
- Other related mechanical components
- Commercial Carpentry
- Steel framing
- Windows installation, caulking
- Hanging steel doors
Our crews typically dispatch from our shop in Redford, in company vehicles - time on the road is on the clock and in a company vehicle.
The core schedule is Mon-Thurs (4-day work-week), 7 am - 5 : 30 pm.
These roles pay about $20-30 per hour, depending on experience.This is a direct hire, W2 position eligible for full benefits - Paid Holidays and Vacation, 401k with Match, Health Insurance.
We are busy all year round, and can easily guarantee you 40 hours every week.
We currently have about 15 employees on the team, and have been in business about 17 years.
