Home Care LPN / RN Clinical Liaison

Position Title : "Home Care LPN or RN Clinical Liaison"

• This is mainly a marketing position.

• This position requires starting and ending each day "in office" Hours are 8 : 30am to 5 : 30pm, one hour lunch.

Reports to : Director of Nursing / Administrator.

Status : Full time, salaried, exempt.

Pay : $25.00-33.00 hourly, depending on marketing experience. Full time is 40 hours per week.

Additional : bi-weekly non-taxable reimbursement for gas.

We are looking for a compassionate LPN or RN clinical liaison to market our facility’s services to patients, their families, and caregivers.

The clinical liaison will guarantee continuity of care for patients transitioning to home care and have the ability to make informed recommendations by maintaining knowledge of our services and industry developments.

You will promote our services by attending conferences and seminars, cultivating relationships with referral sources, conducting presentations, and providing information.

You will explain our services to the patient and caregivers and discuss their rehabilitative care including expectations regarding skilled nursing, physical and occupational therapy.

To ensure success you will tactfully present the realities of processes and financial costs when patients and caregivers are facing painful life events.

Top candidates will be proficient multitaskers, sensitive to the needs of others, and discreet. Must be willing to travel to visit hospitals, clinics, etc.

in our service area to meet the discharge planners there to explain, face-to-face the services we provide.

Clinical Liaison Responsibilities :

• Implementing marketing plans to achieve sales goals.
• Cultivating relationships with sources to generate repeat referrals.
• Participating in the facility's marketing education, ensuring knowledge of their resources, and maintaining knowledge of competitor facilities.
• Attending seminars and conferences to promote the business.
• Collaborating with facility personnel regarding referrals, evaluations, and marketing activities.
• Reviewing physicians' orders and patients' clinical needs, and gathering clinical information.
• Conducting assessments to establish the suitability of prospective admissions.
• Communicating activities and concerns to supervisor.
• Completing required paperwork, managing correspondence, and maintaining data in CRM.
• Other duties as assigned.

Clinical Liaison Requirements :

• LPN or RN degree in nursing with valid license in Maryland.
• 2+ years of work experience in healthcare-related marketing.
• Current BLS / CPR certified.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Valid driver’s license with up-to-date insurance and own car.
• Excellent communication skills, using diplomacy and discretion.
• Professional demeanor.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Bilingual (English / Spanish) is a plus.
