Job Overview : As a Social Media Assistant, you will support the Social Media Manager in executing our social media strategy across various platforms.
You will be responsible for creating engaging content, scheduling posts, interacting with followers, and analyzing performance metrics.
This role requires a combination of creativity, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities :
Scheduling and Posting :
- Schedule and publish posts across various social media channels using social media management tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social.
- Ensure content is posted timely and in alignment with our content calendar.
Community Management :
- Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions.
- Respond to inquiries and engage with followers in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in managing and growing our social media communities by fostering positive interactions.
Analytics and Reporting :
- Track and analyze social media performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and Twitter Analytics.
- Generate regular reports on social media performance and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
Trend Monitoring :
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
- Identify and suggest new opportunities for engagement and growth on emerging platforms.
Collaboration :
- Work closely with the marketing team to align social media content with overall marketing campaigns and goals.
- Assist in the planning and execution of social media campaigns and promotions.
Qualifications :
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
- Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, Google Analytics).
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for design and aesthetics.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design and video editing software is a plus.
