Job Overview : We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Activity Coordinator to join our team. The Activity Coordinator will play a crucial role in planning and implementing a variety of recreational and therapeutic activities for our adult clients.

The goal is to create a stimulating and enjoyable atmosphere that promotes physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Responsibilities :

• Activity Planning : Develop and implement a diverse range of engaging activities, taking into consideration the physical and cognitive abilities of participants.
• Event Coordination : Organize special events, outings, and themed activities to enhance the overall experience for participants.
• Assessment : Conduct assessments of clients' interests, abilities, and preferences to tailor activities to individual needs.
• Collaboration : Work closely with healthcare professionals, caregivers, and other staff members to ensure coordinated and holistic care for participants.
• Documentation : Maintain accurate records of participant attendance, preferences, and progress in activity programs.
• Communication : Effectively communicate with participants, families, and staff to promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
• Safety : Ensure the safety and well-being of participants during all activities, following proper protocols and guidelines.
• Resource Management : Manage and maintain activity supplies, equipment, and resources efficiently.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation, or a related field. ( perferred)
• Proven experience in planning and implementing activities for adults, especially in a healthcare or medical day care setting.
• Understanding of the physical and cognitive challenges faced by adults in a medical day care environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines related to adult day care activities.
• Mandarin speaking is REQUIRED
