Role Description : This is a flexible, on-site position (part-time or full-time) at Comfort Home Care, serving Montgomery County MD, Prince Georges County MD, and Washington D.
C. We are currently seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA - Maryland), Geriatric Nursing Assistant Programs (GNA - Maryland), and Home Health Aides (HHA - Washington DC) to join our team.
As a caregiver, you will play a pivotal role in assisting clients with daily living activities while prioritizing their comfort and safety.

Responsibilities :
Assistance with Daily Living : Aid clients with tasks like bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Medication Reminders : Ensure clients take medications correctly and on time.
Meal Preparation : Plan and prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary requirements.
Light Housekeeping : Perform light cleaning to maintain a safe and orderly environment.
Transportation : Accompany clients to appointments or assist with errands (vehicle not required).
Monitoring Health : Track vital signs and promptly report any changes to medical professionals and / or family.
Companionship : Offer emotional support and engage clients in activities to enhance well-being.
Documentation : Maintain accurate records of care provided and observations made.
Communication : Update supervisors and family members on client progress and condition.
Safety Awareness : Ensure client safety, including fall prevention and readiness for emergencies.
Responsibilities may vary based on client needs and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications :
- CNA or GNA certification in Maryland, HHA certification in Washington, D.C.
- Pass a criminal background check.
- Minimum 1 year providing personal care and assistance.
- Current CPR / BLS certification, COVID-19 vaccination, and Chest X-Ray or Negative PPD / TB Test.
- Valid driver's license and / or reliable transportation.
- Provide two clinical references from supervisors or coworkers with at least six months of experience.
- Employment Eligibility Verification (I-9).
