Duties you will own in this role :
- Supporting each of our Specialty departments (Diagnostic Imaging, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Oncology, Ophthalmology, and Surgery) in various duties, including :
- Managing clients and pets throughout their visit
- Partner with DVM’s in patient assessment, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures
- Obtaining and processing laboratory samples such as blood, urine, free fluid, and fine needle aspirates
- Utilize different modalities of imaging for patient assessment
- Executing, monitoring, and recovering sedation and anesthetic events
- Maintain organized patient records and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
- Collaborate with other veterinary technicians, veterinarians, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- Provide clear and concise communication regarding patient status and any concerns to the veterinary team.
Your Schedule :
Two shifts available :
- Monday - Wednesday, 7am 7 : 30pm
- Thursday - Saturday, 7am 7 : 30pm
Compensation :
Credentialed Technician (RVT) or equivalent experience range : $24 $34 / hr.

About You :
- Active license in the state of CA, RVT
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the veterinary field with anesthesia experience a must
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written; organizational skills; proactive thinking and a positive attitude are also a must
- Accuracy in calculating and delivering anesthetic agents, fluids, and CRIs
- Proficiency in record keeping related to medical procedures including daily treatments administered, patient status, procedures completed, supplies used, and anesthetic records
- Review and understanding of all medical records pertinent to patient care
- Comprehensive understanding and experience with anesthetic monitoring is required
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and a commitment to developing long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community is required
- Maintain a positive outlook and ability to work well in stressful situations
- The ability to deliver exceptional client service is a priority.
