We are seeking a passionate and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team at The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill in Midlothian, VA.

You will play a key role in preparing our authentic and flavorful Mediterranean dishes. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a dedication to culinary excellence.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Mediterranean menu items, including gyros, souvlaki, pitas, salads, and sides, with attention to recipe standards and presentation guidelines.
• Maintain consistency and high-quality standards in all dishes, ensuring every order meets the restaurant's expectations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient food production during peak hours.
• Assist with inventory management, food ordering, and maintaining appropriate stock levels.
• Contribute positively to a supportive and high-energy kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Previous line cook experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in culinary techniques are essential.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines in a high-volume kitchen.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Passion for working with fresh, high-quality ingredients and preparing Mediterranean cuisine.
• A valid food handler's certification is required.
