Note : The Senior Recruiting Operations Coordinator position is funded from January 1, 2025 - April 1, 2026 in order to support increased staffing needs during COOP’s Randomized Control Trial.

Employment beyond April 1, 2026, is contingent on funding and organizational need.

What You Will Do

The Senior Recruiting Operations Coordinator will support national recruiting operations, ensuring a positive candidate experience and an informative, efficient recruiting process.

For the duration of COOP’s Randomized Control Trial (RCT) the Manager of Recruiting Operations will provide extra support as needed to the NYC, Chicago, and CA Recruiting teams.

Responsibilities

National Recruiting Operations and Infrastructure (35%)

  • Manage the Recruiting team’s national Information Session calendar and all operational logistics, providing Info Session coverage and support as needed
  • Manage the Recruiting team’s national email inbox, providing timely correspondence to candidates
  • Lead the Recruiting team’s weekly Randomized Control Trial Office Hours, offering a brief 1 : 1 to any candidate with questions about informed consent or the Randomized Control Trial enrollment process
  • Build national Recruiting Salesforce reports and dashboards
  • Run monthly reports for MOU partners
  • Use LinkedIn Recruiter and Handshake to source candidates nationally
  • Lead a weekly national Information Session

NYC, Chicago, and CA Team Support (35%)

  • Lead weekly regional Group Interviews, as needed
  • Support pipeline management, document review, and candidate communication, as needed
  • Support virtual (or local in-person) career fairs and lead generation events

Special Projects (30%)

  • Lead national cross-functional working groups to drive lead generation and team efficiency
  • Support the Managing Director of Recruiting with ad hoc national projects

Who We Need

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong knowledge of English language (spoken, written, read) sufficient to carry out the activities described in this specification
  • Strong project management skills
  • Some background with Excel / Google Sheets, PowerPoint / Google Slides and Word / Google Docs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strategic and innovative thinker
  • Experience with Salesforce is beneficial, but not required
  • Knowledge of or experience with COOP is helpful but not required

What We Offer You

  • Base Annual Salary : $55,000 - $57,500 (commensurate with experience)
  • Note : The Senior Recruiting Operations Coordinator position is funded from January 1, 2025-April 1, 2026 in order to support increased staffing needs during COOP’s Randomized Control Trial.

Employment beyond April 1, 2026, is contingent on funding and organizational need.

Currently, all COOP team members are working remotely and attending a once-a-month in-person coworking and team-building day at our co-located space in lower Manhattan (Civic Hall, 124 E 14th St, New York, NY 10003) for NYC team members and in San Francisco (Swissnex, San Francisco Pier 17, The Embarcadero Suite 800, San Francisco, CA 94111) for Bay Area team members or a mutually convenient coworking location for our Los Angeles, Chicago, and Miami team members.

Residency Policy

All employees must reside within commuting distance (approximately two hours) of a COOP Program site located in the following cities : Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Bay Area, and within the states of CA, CT, FL, IL, IN, NJ or NY.
