Picker / Packer
Job Description :
We are seeking attentive and efficient Pickers / Packers to join our team for on-demand roles in warehouse and distribution centers.
Ideal candidates are those skilled in accurately selecting and preparing orders for shipping, ensuring they meet specific requirements and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities (Varies by Business) :
- Select and pick products from warehouse shelves or bins according to order sheets.
- Pack orders securely for shipping, ensuring items are protected and organized.
- Inspect items for defects or damage and report any issues to management.
- Use barcode scanners or computer systems to track inventory and order details.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards.
- Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization as needed.
- Work efficiently to meet productivity targets and deadlines.
Requirements :
- Previous experience in a warehouse, pick and pack, or similar role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order documents and pick lists.
- Good physical fitness, able to lift and move items of various sizes.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
