You will be a Software Engineer Staff. Our team is responsible for designing, coding, and testing high fidelity software on a real time operating system.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Software Engineer Staff you will be responsible for contributing to collaborative autonomous flight and simulation software as a senior part of the development team.
You will be expected to give thoughtful input on the direction of software deliverables, including PI planning and keeping sprints on track.
Close collaboration with team members across various work locations is required.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Strong C++ development skills, Gitlab, CI / CD pipeline, Windows and Linux development methods and best practices
- Mission and Flight software development
- Development according to WOSA, OMS, and / or Big Iron standards
- High Fidelity Simulation
- AI / ML model development and munition integration
- AFSIM scenario development, particularly RF and EOIR sensor modeling (mission level)

You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Desired skills
- AI model development and munition integration
- AFSIM scenario development, particularly RF and EOIR modeling (mission level)
- Software Team Leadership experience
- Master's Degree in Technical discipline, or higher (CS, EE Preferred)
