Job Description
Clinical & Forensic Toxicology Technician performs immunoassay screening as well as confirmatory and targeted screening analyses within a well-known hospital! This position would require relocation to Rochester, MN.
Responsibilities :
- Confirmatory testing is performed on both gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) and liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS / MS) platforms
- Utilizes solid phase extraction (SPE), supported liquid extraction (SLE), liquid-liquid extraction (LLE) as well as dilute-and-shoot for sample preparation.
- Additional sample preparations may involve a protein crash or hydrolysis pre-treatments depending on the analytes in question.
- Targeted screening assays are dilute-and-shoot assays running on LC-MS / MS platforms with high resolution accurate mass (HRAM) analyzers.
