POSITION SUMMARY : Overview

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Purchasing Manager to manage and optimize our purchasing, sourcing, and lease negotiations for Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and Multi-Function Printers (MFP).

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, business, or related fields, along with exceptional negotiation and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lease Management : Manage and review the lease query program for MHE, ensuring leases are renewed or renegotiated in a timely manner.
• Financial Negotiations : Negotiate MHE lease rates with financial institutions to optimize costs.
• Vendor Relations : Oversee the vendor bidding process and negotiate terms with vendors to secure the best rates and terms.
• Audit Participation : Participate in annual internal and external finance audits.
• Equipment Procurement : Purchase or lease MFPs for all CLI facilities.
• Documentation : Document and update the purchasing process flow and purchasing order requisition work instructions.
• Cross-Functional Interaction : Collaborate with plant managers, AQP / costing team, finance, sales, engineering, IT, and other departments.
• Process Improvement : Implement and manage strategic sourcing disciplines to improve purchasing efficiency.
• Project Management : Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines and objectives are met.

Requirements

• Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, or related field is preferred.
• Experience : 5 - 7 years of professional experience in purchasing, sourcing, and negotiation skills.
• Technical Skills : Proficient with MS Excel and knowledgeable in strategic sourcing disciplines. Visio is a plus.
• Soft Skills : Strong project management skills, initiative, drive, and a commitment to the highest levels of integrity, excellence, and attention to detail.
• Location : Position can be remote with a high preference for candidates in the Central or Eastern time zones.
• Travel : Travel is 10% or less.
