Specific job duties for this role include the following :
- Perform transmission planning studies and analysis to ensure a reliable and cost-effective transmission system across FPL.
- Support continued customer growth, increased demand loads, new solar generation projects and transition to zero-carbon future.
- Prepare PSSE planning models and cases for analysis to support regional and compliance requirements.
- Support Generator Interconnection studies
- Exhibit sound technical, leadership and communication skills as well as excellent understanding of power flows on the transmission system.
- Collaborate across transmission teams, Grid Transformation, Technical Services, Advance Applications, Project Management and other departments.
- Participate and support regional FRCC technical committees
- Attend and support industry conferences
- Knowledge of PSSE and / or TARA is highly preferred.

Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)
- Bachelor's - Engineering
- Experience : 3+ years

- Certified Professional Engineer (PE)
- Six Sigma Black Belt Certified
- Six Sigma Green Belt Certified
- Master's Degree
- Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certified
